High-phosphorus nickel plating (NiP 10-13%)

Within the conventional electroless nickel plating treatments, this is the most complete.
Its MAIN CHARACTERISTICS are:

• Uniformity.
• Rugosity: Does not vary in low and medium thicknesses.
• Appearance: Semi-bright.
• Hardness:

  – Just plated: 500-560 Hv.

  – With up to 1050 Hv. treatment

• Anti-corrosion level: Very high.
  

  Neutras Salt Spray (ASTM B-117) (depending on the material and layer thickness) up to 1000 hours.

• Maximum recommended layer thickness: 400 microns.
• Minimum porosity for thicknesses greater than 10 microns.

• Wear resistence: Good.
• Not magnetic.
